VNAT promotes Viet Nam tourism in Melbourne, Australia

(TITC) – On 5 October 2016, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in collaboration with Viet Nam Embassy in Australia and Vietnam Airlines organized roadshow to promote Viet Nam tourism in Melbourne.

Viet Nam tourism potentials, new tourism products and policies, Ha Noi’s attractions, new products of Vietnam Airlines… were introduced to Australian partners. In addition, a B2B meeting was also held to facilitate information exchange and cooperation opportunities between tourism enterprises of the two sides.

Australia has been identified as one of the key source markets of Viet Nam tourism with high expenditure and long stay visitors. In 2015, Viet Nam welcomed approximately 303 thousand Australian tourist arrivals. This number is expected to increase in the coming time thanks to expansion of air connection between the two countries, visa facilitation and travel trend of Australians who are seeking unique cultural and ecological tourism products.
