DAY 01: HANOI – HA GIANG– QUAN BA – 360km (L,D)
07h30 : Get picked up by tour guide and prepare your bikes at your hotel for departure to Ha Giang. ( 300km from Hanoi – 5 hours drive)
Have en route lunch in Ha Giang upon arrival in Ha Giang,
Drive to Quan Ba ( 60km 1hour 30 min drive on long curve) Contemplate Quan Ba Heaven Gate lying about 1,500m above sea level, and in 1939, the French built a stone wall and a wooden gate to block the pass, in order to prevent access to the Dong Van plateau and beyond.
Check in to hotel and have dinner at 18:30. Stay overnight in Quan Ba.
DAY 02: QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN – MEO VAC (160km) (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive departure to visit to Yen Minh. Photo stop on the road side with pine forest. Lunch on the way.
13:00 Transfer to the Northern most location of Vietnam – Lung Cu. The flag pole of Lung Cu is an important landmark marking the border division between China and Vietnam. The trip also take us to the Mansion of Vuong Chi Sinh King, a beautiful and unique architecture of the uplands that has been classified as a relic from 1993. To enter the 64-room mansion, visitors have to climb up a series of stone steps sandwiched in between old pine trees leading to the mansion’s entrance of a small wooden gate set into a round stone wall.
16:00 On the route to Dong Van – Meo Vac, you have chance to admire the imposing Ma Pi Leng Pass and the poetic Nho Que River – an beautiful river like a silky fillet looming in fog which brings tourists a pleasant sensation of a naturally romantic masterpiece.
17:00 Arrive in Meo Vac Town. Meo Vac is inhabited by different ethnic minorities including the H’mong, the King, Tay, Dzao…Most ethnic groups have maintained their culture untouched from the outside world. Overnight stay in Meo Vac home stay
DAY 03: MEO VAC – CAO BANG (231km) (B, L, D)
Today, most experience to conquest the beautiful road among drive
07:00 Have breakfast. Travel along the roads of Meo Vac – Niem Son – Bao Lam – Nguyen Binh to reach Cao Bang Province. Stop enroute for lunch and photo hunting.
17:00 Check in to hotel in Cao Bang Town. Have dinner and experience a night in Cao Bang at your own pace. Overnight in Cao Bang.
DAY 04: CAO BANG – BAN GIOC WATERFALL (90 km) (B, L, D)
07:00 Have breakfast then depart to Ban Gioc Waterfall, which is 90 km away from Cao Bang Town. The waterfall falls thirty meters. It is separated into three falls by rocks and trees, and the thundering effect of the water hitting the cliffs can be heard kilometers away. The sight in Ban Gioc Waterfall bears a poetic, fresh, quiet beauty of water, forest and cloud area mixed with village atmosphere of mountainous ethnic minorities.
Have lunch in Ban Gioc. Drive back to Cao Bang. Dinner and stay overnight in Cao Bang.
DAY 05: CAO BANG – LANG SON – HANOI (280km) (B, L)
AM 8h00 : Get on bikes to return to Hanoi ( 280km) . Stop en route the way after 125km ride to visit Lang Son City with well-known attractions like Tam Thanh Cave, Nhi Thanh Cave and Dong Kinh Market. Have lunch in Lang Son.
PM: Drive back to Hanoi 160km by high way 1A. Tour ends upon arrival in Hanoi after 3 hours drive (approx 18h30).
