PROGRAM ABOUT VIETNAMESE TOURISM IN JAKARTA (INDONESIA)

On May 3, 2019, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism cooperated with the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia to organize the Vietnam Tourism Introduction Program in Jakarta – the Capital of Indonesia. The Roadshow program is an opportunity to introduce tourism products, attractive destinations and opportunities to invest in Vietnam’s tourism market to businesses, press agencies of Indonesia.

This activity is part of a series of programs lasting from 2-10 May 2019 to promote tourism, introduce friendly and attractive Vietnam destinations to ASEAN markets, focusing on marketing. Indonesia and the Philippines.

In 2018, Vietnam tourism welcomes nearly 88 thousand tourists from Indonesia, up 10.9% compared to 2017; In the first 4 months of 2019, there were 36,500 arrivals of Indonesia to Vietnam, an increase of 29% over the same period last year. With the increase in connectivity through the development of airlines, facilitating convenient travel between the two countries, we expect customer growth to be higher in the future.
